The
cottage, which was built around 1900 for railway
workers and their families, is situated in the village
of Garve, which is a 40-minute drive from the Highland
Capital of Inverness.
In the
village of Garve there are many interesting places
to walk from a stroll around the village to the
more adventurous task of talking a Munro!
You
can walk from the cottage towards Wades Bridge
where you will find a Forestry Commission constructed
walk which takes you to the Silverbridge. There
are also constructed walks at Rogie Falls.
For
the more experienced walker Ben Wyvis, The Fannichs
and the Dearg Range all within a short drive.
